B&O – Design Leads the way

0

B&O recently announced a new 40" and 46" LCD/LED TV to the North American Market.  The TV's used panels made by Samsung, however they featured an Anti-reflective coating and a close mounting industrial design that results in a very large viewing angle without picture degradation.    One of the major enhancements of the B&O TV over other video products is the focus on the audio environment.  The company has built a reputation for the highest end audiophile products, and in comparison to other flat screens, the new TV's hold true to this heritage. The TVs were shown simultaneously with the new 1000W multi-speaker car audio system they had designed for the Aston Martin DBS, and their flagship 55" TV with built in blu-ray player and 7 speaker floor standing speaker system.  The multi-speaker setup features a positional and phasing control to allow for compensating for furniture,  corners, and a multi-room environment where you may need to shift the focus of the sound from one wall to another based on the  set being used for view in the living room and audio for the dinning room. The new systems were connected with CAT7 wire as the active speakers are shifting towards digital technology, thus simplifying the install process.  The wall mounts were also designed with the wire harness in mind to accommodate not only connecting multiple sources to the sets, but having them connected and maintaining the on-wall profile. pc
