July 2012 - At this years Comic-Con, one of the most anticipated features was the “Dark Knight Rises” the thhird episode in the Christopher Nolan story telling of the Batman world. With anticipation for the film driving the event, all things batman were on display.

One of the keys of the character is the tech that he uses - this is from his armor to weapons to vehicles. All of these were represented at the show in the forms of props from various films and TV shows, and drawings from graphics novels and storey boards.

Chuck Barris Design Batmobile

The highlight, and one of the largest dispalys, was the Batman vehicles - the Batmobile. Film and TV used vehicles from the original Batmobile created by Chuck Barris for the 1960's TV show, through the Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney Batmobiles and finally two vehicles form the current Christian Bale/ Christopher Nolan Batmobiles were on display (seen below) Features of the in-cockpit info-tainment system I these vehicles are actually be reviewed for applicability in more practical consumer level audio & video.
