HyperX Headset now available for Xbox One
June 2016 – At E3 2016 Kingston released their long awaited professional gaming headset for the Xbox One platform. Following the success of the HyperX Cloud II headphones for the PC, the new HyperX CloudX Headphones bring that performance and comfort to the Xbox One.
The HyperX Cloud II is one of the mainstays of the professional gaming circuit and has become the reference headphone for the PC gaming marketplace. The products are high performance as they are designed for long session wear with comfort from the memory foam ear pads and the leather headband with very solid mechanical aspects.
The sound on the headphones is excellent separating voice communication, sound and special effects, and music. In MMOs and team play, the clarity of communications between members is excellent. The design supporting the Xbox One has an in-line volume control between the connection to the controller and the headphones. The headphones have a closed cup design to keep out ambient noise surrounding the dynamic 53mm with neodymium magnet driver.
A nice feature is the hard shell carrying case that protects both the shape of the ear cups and the detachable microphone, while allowing for easy backpack style carrying of the headset to be able to be used with other Xbox One systems. For those that have both consoles and PCs in their gaming environment, the headset is a must for those who want a common high quality sound experience across platforms.
