Taiwan Products Launch at CES 2014
January 2014, Taiwan International Press Conference which took place on Wednesday, January 8 announced new products launch at CES as well as Computex Taipei Expo, June 3-7. 2014. At the CES event they announced the COMPUTEX d&i awards, on exhibit in the South Hall of LVCC, which underscores Taiwan edge in quality innovative products. On display are winning products from Acer, Adata, AIPTEK, Antec, Apacer, Avision, Conary, Cooler Master, Edimax, Elecom, Gajah, Gigabyte, HTC, Just Mobile, KYE, OAXIS, Ozaki, Pebble, Posiflex, Senao, Silicon Power, Silverstone, Thermaltake, and VIA.

Among the other companies, Gigabyte recognized their new 3-in-1 Versatile Laptop. The top three positions of the Taiwan imported products continue to be Notebook, Tablet and Desktop computers. As the founder of Gigabyte said, he wanted to combine those three categories together into their new products. The Versatile Laptop features 11.6” display and is the U21MD product line. It comes with the latest 4th Gen. Intel core processor, multiple connectivity ports, dual storage system, and Dolby Home Theater sound. It is super thin and light at 0.78 in./20mm thick and only weighs in at 3Ibs/1.39 kg (m-SSD version) or 3.28Ibs/1.49kg (HDD version). The device is an excellent choice for users looking for a single device for multifaceted usability. Switching from tablet to laptop modeis easy and convenient, the device comes with a docking station for use as a desktop . Dolby Home Theater Sound Quality Optimization Technology eliminates sound distortion; enhance volume and gives ultimate multimedia experience. The Dolby system can provide surround souce with external speakers connected to the docking station.

In the gaming area, Tt eSPORTS was recognized for two new products : their Level 10 gaming headset, and the Level 10M – wireless hybrid mouse. Both products were launched at the beginning of this year. The Level 10 design concept originated back in 2008 when the Thermaltake Group initiated the first design collaboration with BMW DesignworksUSA. The new 10M Headset has ergonomics design; adjustable headband locks to hold the position and size. The Level 10 Headset has a finely tuned sound signature, the noise canceling microphone removes ambient noise and allows for clear communication. The Headset’s aluminum base gives it durability, light weight, and great heat dissipation properties. The microphone moves on a mic-axis design, which allows it to visually blend with left ear cup when not in use. The use of Bi-lateral USB connectivity further adds to the modularity of the M Headset. The headset employs a headphone cable with a USB type connector that can be attached to either the left or right ear cup. The fact that users have diverse array of setups, the M Headset is able to keep the headphones cable from getting in the way. An additional mobile cable is also provided, as both smartphone use and mobile gaming trends have been advancing strongly.
The newest member of Level 10M family is the Hybrid Mouse. It comes as hybrid wired and wireless use mode. The same use of the aluminum base gives the mouse a solid feel maintain good weight, innovative legacy 3D-steering axis movement which lets users adjust the height and angle at which the back cover comes into contact with their hand, and air-though ventilation system to keep hands cool are preserved.
