July 2015, The Silicon Valley Innovation Summit showcased individuals and companies from a myriad of industries, but there were some common topics throughout the summit. One of those topics was big data, a hot topic for the last several years, and a company that stood out in the big data space was BeyondCore. BeyondCore’s self-proclaimed goal is to “Empower every business user with the power of analytics”.
BeyondCore’s software enables anyone to analyze their own data, even if you don’t know what to look for. In their CEO, Arijit Sengupta’s own words, “BeyondCore shows you what happened, why it happened, what will happen and how to improve it.” A software that can determine what patterns are statistically relevant to your data and the impact these trends have is something that can be very powerful for a company that lacks personnel with that expertise. BeyondCore also allows you to perform specific analytics of your own discretion as well if you do know what it is you want to look for. All of these results are then exported to a format of your choosing, including PDF, Word doc, or even PowerPoint slides.
After BeyondCore has run its analysis and you’ve chosen how to export the results, you are presented with all of the graphs and information that BeyondCore has identified as being relevant and determined to affect your data. It then tells you what to focus on in each graph and what the graphs themselves represent.When asked to “put their money where their mouth is,” BeyondCore was able to analyze a test set of data and come up with a full analytics report, exported to Word in less than 60 seconds.
BeyondCore is all about bringing big data analytics to every business allowing people to utilize widely available aggregated data and parse through it to see what it tells you about your business. For companies that lack professionals with a background in statistics and data analytics this is a way to fill that gap and help you optimize your business strategies.
