The game is a traditional Lego style game with the majority of objects in the world being built of Legos, so they can also be broken apart for points in the game. The game has three types of characters – defenders, smashers, and builders. All the characters can smash and build, the smashers break things up faster and can break up more difficult objects. The builders can make more complex objects and puzzles.

The game play is designed for small teams of 4 players, and you play against other teams of 4 players, so it is small intimate MMO. The extent of the game is large with 3 initial worlds all based on Lego playsets and feature both indoor and outdoor play fields. Since the game is based on real Lego sets, all objects in the game can be built with real Legos and were designed with the Lego Digital Designer tools.

The game is expandable up to 100 figures at this time, and more are to come. In addition to the game, collectable minifigure packs are available in stores. These packs will be released multiple times during the year and come with a real lego figure to build and a game code to add the character to your game. Some of the packs will contain limited edition figures and power codes.

The game has been designed so that ir can be played the same time you are talking to your teammates on Skype or other on-line voice communication program, without the talking slowing down or interrupting the game.
